As an executive coach one of the important roles that I play for my CEO clients is to be an accountability partner.

As we enter the new year, we start the year with the best of intentions.  We are like the frogs on the log.  We decide to do something and make it our new year’s resolution.  We proclaim it to our friends and family.  “This is the year that I will:”

An execution mindset separates the best from the rest.  "I go through" is not just a song by O.A.R. but an attitude for success.

According to Merriam Webster’s dictionary Deadline is defined as “a date or time before which something must be done”.  While this is the dictionary definition, our company culture has made a slight but important edit to the interpretation of the definition.  We have swapped the word “by” for “before”.
